How This Site Is Organized?
MyMobilization is organized into four levels: Shelves, Books, Chapters, and Pages.
Shelf
A shelf is the highest-level section of the site.
The main shelf that everyone can see is:
- Mobilization
- This shelf contains Mobilization-related information, including general guidance, policy information, procedures, reference material, and support resources.
Books
A book groups related content around a major topic. Some books are available to all users. Other books may be limited to Mobilization Leaders or approved support roles.
Chapters
A chapter groups related pages within a book.
Not every book will use chapters. Smaller books may contain pages directly.
Pages
A page contains the actual guidance, policy, procedure, or reference information. Pages are intended to answer a specific question, explain a process, or document a specific policy. When possible, pages are focused, clearly titled, and easy to search.
Public and Restricted Content
Some information in MyMobilization is broadly available so all Greyshirts can understand common Mobilization policies and expectations. Other information may be restricted because it includes internal procedures, templates, decision-making workflows, or operational details. If you cannot access a book or page, it may be limited to Mobilization Leaders or another approved role.
Finding the Right Information
If you know what you are looking for, use the search bar. Search works best when you use specific words related to the topic, such as reconfirmation, dispatch, travel changes, driver, flight, availability, or demobilization.
If you are not sure what to search for, start by browsing the Mobilization shelf and selecting the book that best matches your topic.
